Privacy policy
This website uses no cookies and no tracking. Here is which data is processed nonetheless and how I handle it. This is a translation; in case of doubt the German version applies.
Controller
Nicolas Letzter, Atelier Letzter Landschaftsarchitektur, Schriberystrasse 12, 3778 Schönried, Switzerland, nicolas@atelierletzter.ch. This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Hosting and visiting the website
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), on servers in Switzerland. When you visit, Infomaniak stores technically necessary information in log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This data serves secure operation and is deleted according to Infomaniak’s retention periods. I do not analyse it.
Contact form and email
The form neither stores nor sends anything itself: it opens your email program with a prepared message to me. If you write to me this way or directly by email, I use your details (name, email, if provided phone number, project location and message) only to answer your enquiry and to handle any resulting project. The data is not passed on to third parties and not used for advertising. I delete enquiries that do not lead to a commission after two years at the latest. Project records are kept for the periods required by law.
Cookies and local storage
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. So that the privacy notice does not appear on every visit, a note is stored locally in your browser. This note is not transmitted to me.
Fonts
The fonts are stored on this website’s own server. There is no connection to Google or other font providers.
Map
On the contact page you can display a map from OpenStreetMap. It is only loaded when you click. Your IP address is then transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation in the United Kingdom, which according to the Swiss Federal Council provides an adequate level of data protection. More at osmfoundation.org.
Your rights
You can at any time request information about the data I hold about you, as well as its correction, deletion or release. A letter to the address above is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
I may update this policy if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
